What is Malware?
 Malware is a computer software that usually installs itself on your computer unknowingly.
It is the compound from malicious and software (malware),
a generic term used to describe all kinds of malicious software. It refers to
worms, viruses, trojans, spyware, adware, hoaxes, etc., and
it was designed to damage or disrupt a computer system.
How does it function?
There are companies, usually advertising ones, that set tracking cookies or
data mining components on your computer system. Their purpose is to monitor
and deliver information regarding your computer habits. The process results
in endless pop up ads displaying on your computer screen which finally slows
down your computer performance.
